ATELIER HITOSHI ABE
Outline
This house is an arrangement of "Minimum Dwelling" (1952) designed by Masuzawa Makoto, while keeping the basic principles. Three main manipulations were made to the original: the height of the building was extended, the openings were evenly placed on each elevation to eliminate the directionality of the building, and the water area was divided between the first and second floors.
