The building is located on a plot of land facing the Namegawa Valley, which is blessed with the nature of Kamakura. The building is intended to have a positive relationship with the surrounding landscape through a highly transparent "pass-through corridor" in the north-south direction, and a deck overhanging the retaining wall.
