House in Kamitomii

Outline
This is a reduced + renovated 150-year-old Japanese house, a weekend residence used mainly in the mid to summer months. The scale of the house was reduced by dismantling the half-built extensions. The original main house and storehouse are restored and a new shed is built, and simple wooden fittings are used to divide the interior and exterior. It is a one-room space with the minimum functions necessary for daily life.
