This observatory is built on top of yashima, about 300 meters above the ground. it is part of the "yashima revitalization concept" promoted by takamatsu city, and serves as a guidance function to introduce the culture, history, and natural environment of yashima, as well as an activity center as the core of a stay in the mountain-top area.
