KYOTO GYOEN REST HOUSES

Three wooden rest houses constructed with a conventional-axle construction method are planned for three locations in the kyoto imperial gardens, including exhibition spaces for the kyoto imperial gardens, a cafe for kyoto sweets, and a reception area for the kyoto state guest house. the spatial composition of the moya and eaves, roof slope, pillar spans, and materials are common to all three buildings, creating a sense of design unity.
