Exterior view of the northeast side. This steel-framed regional exchange center stands along the national road leading from Kuroiso Station in Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture. A large 6-meter-high roof placed in the center of the site covers the indoor plaza from the plaza under the roof, forming a large space that can be used for multiple purposes. On either side of the roof are the kitchen and exhibition areas covered by catenary roofs of 2.2 to 4.0 meters in height.
