Outline
Reconstruction of the old university library in Mejiro campus of Japan Women's University. The library was constructed on the site of a kindergarten. The library was built on the site of a kindergarten, with the intention of developing a "learning commons" throughout the campus. In addition to seats for reading, group use, and benches, private rooms (group study rooms) are located on the slopes surrounding the floor. A "student residence space building" (temporary) is located between the library and Mejiro Street.
