Outline
This huge laboratory was built as a result of the relocation of the Chiba Laboratory attached to the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, which was located in West Chiba. Taking advantage of the vast land and huge space, it is a place where experiments can be conducted for technological development in the fields of new transportation systems, automatic driving research, robotics, and aircraft industry in cooperation with industry and academia. Research laboratories and lines of flow are arranged in a circle around the huge experimental space.
