BOOK AND BED TOKYO

Outline
This 30-bed dormitory is located on the seventh floor of a commercial building near the west exit of Ikebukuro Station, and was planned using an empty floor. The bed space is placed behind a bookshelf with about 1,700 books as a tool to invite guests to sleep. The building is converted into an accommodation facility by installing furniture that integrates the bookshelf and the bed, and by adding a water feature.
