REVIVAL HOUSING IN TOTSUKAWA-MURA

Outline
This is a reconstruction housing project for people who were affected by the Kii Peninsula Flood in September 2011. Rather than building a new housing complex in a new location, the village bought up private land in two existing villages and built 13 new houses on it. At the same time, workshops on local housing development and interviews with local residents were held, and the construction was carried out in conjunction with the village development strategy.
