NOUVELLE AKABANEDAI B1, B2&C HOUSING BLOCK

Outline
The second phase of the reconstruction of Akabanedai Danchi, completed in 1962, was designed by three different design teams for each of the three districts. Three design teams were responsible for the design of each of the three blocks, and approximately 900 new units were constructed while preserving familiar places such as ginkgo trees and flower gardens. As the buildings age, they are being reconstructed in order to make more efficient use of the site and to revitalize the area. The first phase of the project, A-gaiseki, was completed in September 2006 (This Journal 0908).
