HOKI MUSEUM

Outline
A museum specializing in realistic paintings, built between the Showa-no-Mori urban park and a residential area in Toke-cho, Midori-ku, Chiba City. The museum houses and exhibits paintings and wines collected by its director, Mr. Yasuki Masao. The structure consists of several tube-like structures that stretch across the entire site and are stacked on top of each other, creating a long gallery about 100 meters deep. The steel tubes are cantilevered from their support points and extend about 30 meters. BIM was used for the design.
