- This is a three-generation house built on a tenryo site (a territory directly under the control of the Edo shogunate). The entire site is captured by a T-shaped arrangement of five gabled volumes of different sizes. In addition, the plan is laid out with crossed auxiliary lines as if layered on top of each other, and the floor finishes are laid out accordingly.
