N-HOUSE

Outline
A two-family house built on a hill in Tokyo. The plan is U-shaped so that the house can be lit from all directions, and the connection between the two households is secured through the courtyard. In addition, the upper two floors, which are placed on the base of the house, are slightly raised to create a view from the courtyard to the front road. In addition to the view of the city from the top floor, the green wall of the neighboring building gives each room a distinctive character in relation to the outside.
