On the northeast site of the main campus (9208, designed by Maki and Associates), seven wood-frame buildings and one building derived from another site were constructed by different designers as residential educational facilities. The project, named SBC (Student Built Campus), was carried out by current students, faculty, staff, and alumni in conjunction with the planning of the facilities and the development of the curriculum and other programs.
