The University of Tokyo's international dormitory and university facilities are planned on the site of the former University of Tokyo Hospital Annex. The residential buildings include units for single people (shared and independent), for two people and families, and for people with disabilities, with a total of 857 units planned in 18 types. The kitchen, living room, dining room, and other shared spaces in the residential buildings are planned to face the Shirakashi Deck.
