It is the research and development center of Huawei, a telecommunications equipment manufacturer, and Nikken Sekkei was selected through an international competition. About 25,000 people work on the 150-hectare site. Based on the motif of European historical townscape, 12 towns with approximately 2,000 people and 60,000 m2 as a unit were planned. Around the site, a training center, housing complexes and serviced apartments for employees, and hotels for business travelers are being constructed.
