This is a renovation project for a shop attached to the Takao station of the Takao cable car. Since new construction is not allowed in the national park, the existing steel frame was retained and reinforced against earthquakes, while most of the finishes and equipment were updated. By eliminating the partitions between each shop, multiple shop spaces are developed in a three-dimensional manner along the topography with a difference in elevation.
