This roof was installed in the outdoor plaza as part of the development of the University Hall in the center of the Tsushima Campus of Okayama University. A 12-mm-thick steel plate roof is welded to solid steel columns with diameters of 60 to 75 mm to secure horizontal and vertical forces without seismic walls or beams. The boundary fence and shrubs were removed, and the pavement was changed from asphalt to brick.
