Outline
The City Hall Plaza consists of a city hall, a hall and an arena in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture. The site is where the old welfare hall used to be, and three buildings enclose the nakadoma, with a large roof made of trusses. The exterior walls are made of locally produced cedar wood in the motif of the checkerboard pattern used at Nagaoka Castle.
