Outline: Reconstruction of an art museum on a vast site in Minami Aoyama. The approach is a space under the eaves flanked by a bamboo grove and bamboo fence, creating a relationship between the city, the museum, and the garden behind it. The roof is tiled without any structural elements, and the eaves are made of phosphate-treated iron sheets, creating a low, deep space under the eaves. The religious exhibition room has a sloping ceiling that reflects the shape of the roof, and a large opening toward the garden.
