Outline
This is the residence of the designer's parents, located on a site facing the intersection of a four-way intersection on the south and a green space leading to an elementary school on the north. The roof is sloped and the eaves are kept low so that the plantings connect the green space on the north side to the courtyard and the outer room on the south side. In order to reproduce the scenery of a quarry, materials that exist in the mountains were selected, such as granite hip walls, cedar bark exterior walls, and natural slate roofs.
