This is a house for a family of four in the suburbs of Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The house is placed on the north side, and the garden on the south side is wide open to the village without a boundary wall. The neighboring house on the north side is 2m lower than the house on the south side, but by digging down the floor and reducing the height of the house, the good environment is maintained. In addition, the deep eaves ensure the privacy from the overlooking road.
