TAKASU DISTRICT RESIDENTS CENTER

Outline
Reconstruction of a community center in the center of Takasu-cho, a bedroom community of Asahikawa City. The town, with a population of 7,000, does not have a library, so the small library attached to the former community center was expanded to create a 30,000-volume library. The structure and finishes are all made of wood from Hokkaido.
