SUKAGAWA COMMUNITY CENTER TETTE

Outline
This is a project to reconstruct the General Welfare Center, which was damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. A library and lifelong learning functions were added to make it a citizen exchange center. Ishimoto & Associates and Unemori Yasuyuki Architects were selected for the project based on the condition that young architects under the age of 40 work with an established design firm as "design architects". The slabs are displaced to create terraces and a variety of interior spaces.
