KEISHO KINDERGARTEN
HIROSHI HARA+ATELIER Φ
- Outline
- This is a reconstruction of the former school building designed by Hara Hiroshi in 1968. The structure is wooden (partly steel-framed), with a large wooden roof in the shape of a deformed gable with multiple high-side lights. A decked terrace is located under the eaves overhanging the school yard on the north side. The nursery rooms have a vertical plan of 15 m north-south by 4 m east-west. The rooms are gently divided from each other by gate shaped wall frames and furniture, but the entire space is one room.
