- An atelier built beside a stream with melting snow from the yatsugatake mountains. a detached weekend house on the same site. in the future, it is envisioned to be a prototype of an off-grid tiny house. the floor is raised approximately 4.5m above the ground to allow cool breezes to enter from under the floor in summer and to protect the building from snow accumulation in winter. the detailed design was carried out while simulating thermal sensation (set*) using cfd.
