- The building is located in a residential area in the suburbs of Tokyo. The core, with private rooms stacked in the center, is nested and surrounded on three sides by public spaces, which are shifted by half a layer to create a gentle connection upward and downward. The gabled roof forms a ridge at the center of the core.
