The building stands on the cliff of a small mountain, with greenery on the southwest side. The main house is placed on the upper part of the site and the detached house is placed on the lower part of the site, straddling a 4-meter-high stone retaining wall that originally stood on the site. The frame of the building is made of wood, and a part of the wall of the main building is used as a retaining wall and a foundation.
