House in Bamboo Grove
Okuno Yasohachi/Atelier Bricolage
- Outline
- This house was built on a site where the owner personally cut down a bamboo grove on the northwest side and a rice field on the southeast side. In order to feel the nature from each room, the house is arranged by dividing the traditional floor plan of a traditional Japanese house into several volumes, so that each room can have a relationship with the outside.
