House in Ando-cho

Outline
The house is built on a long north-south site and is intended to be lived in in the future. The garden, which runs north-south, creates a sense of distance between the rooms and at the same time gives a sense of unity. Rocks, slate stones, pine trees and maki trees are reused from the original garden. The entire building is divided into several sections, each with a single-flowing roof to prevent the overall volume from becoming too large.
