Door House
Masafumi Harada+Maiko Taniguchi /Niji Architects
- Outline
- This small house is built on a 74m2 flagpole site surrounded by buildings on all sides. One of the exterior walls is open to the approach like a door. In addition to ensuring privacy and letting in light and wind, the door-like sleeve wall also functions as a structural wall and a fire barrier, allowing for a large opening despite the use of aluminum sashes.
