It was built for the Satoyama Housing Expo, which required a highly versatile plan and a high level of structural performance in anticipation of its widespread use in the future. 4 square meter, two-story building with a 3.5 inch gable roof. The house is insulated and airtight, and takes advantage of air-collecting solar panels and direct solar gain from the openings.
