Hanauchiya

Outline
This is the designer's own residence, a renovated machiya that was built over 180 years ago. The Doma is used as a place to exhibit installations in collaboration with the neighbors, as a gallery, and as a coffee shop. Site-specific artworks made from stones, old wood, and cherry blossom branches on the site are displayed in various locations.
